In the first quarter of 2024, the UK's Android platform saw interesting trends in the Waifu Games category. Here's a snapshot of how five popular games performed, with insights from Sensor Tower.
OUTERPLANE - Strategy Anime from Smilegate Holdings started the quarter with strong revenue, peaking at $1.18M in the last week of February, but downloads significantly decreased from 9K in the first week to just 85K by the end of March. Weekly active users also saw a downward trend, starting at 5.6K and ending at 825.
LYSSA: Goddess of LOVE, developed by PANORAMIK GAMES, showed a steady revenue growth with a high of $3.43M in late February. Downloads spiked in mid-February to 1.1K, while weekly active users increased over the quarter, starting at 932 and reaching 1.4K by late March.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE by Level Infinite was a top performer in revenue, ending the quarter with an impressive $28K. Downloads gradually grew, ending the quarter at 856K, and weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, from 8.7K to 8.9K.

Downloads remained fairly stable around the 400 mark, and weekly active users showed little fluctuation, maintaining around 3K throughout the quarter.
